RELIGIONS IN THE TOWN
Already we have detailed the islam is a major religion of the town. 98% population belonged islam have two sects as Shiya 45% and 55% Sunni mostly ansari.
In past freedom of india the sunni sect had colored into Shiaism in the town cause of low education.
Bit by bit the speed of the education went on.
By the efforts of most prominents scholors of islam who got the islamic educations form world famous islamic university Dar ul loom Deoband distinguished the identification of sunni sect from the shiaism and by their great steps the islam in this town got a new face when An institute Madarsa Ansar ul loom surfaced on 1952 at new location Nai basti the new settlement of sunni sect on the road of amroha to Bijnor.
The head of this institute Mufti Abdul rehmaan qasmi who educated from the Deoband university had appointed.
Past of opening this institute ,the sunni sect busied in shirk[grave worship ,celebrated urs and muharram against the islam law and rules ]
